AQUMARK, INC EMULSION MAKE DOWN SYSTEM.
THE “UGLY” POLYMER FEEDER

AQUAMARK, INC Manufactures a polymer make down
system that uses the flow of carrier water to activate the emulsion
polymer. These systems
are relatively simple and easy to clean.
Polymer is injected into the system before three static
mixers which provide the mechanical mixing that activates the
polymer. These units
come in two sizes. The
small size uses a ¾ inch static mixer and has a flow rate of 0 to 5
gpm of carrier water and is capable of feeding up to 2.5gallons per
hour of neat polymer.
The large size uses a 1 inch static mixers and has a flow rate of 0
to 10 gpm of carrier water is capable of feeding up to 5 gph of neat
polymer. Lower
viscosity emulsion polymers can be fed at higher rates.
To install the unit all that is needed is a
garden hose 1/2 inch for the small unit and a 3/4 inch hose for the
large unit which is attached to the lower left hand side of the
unit. Made down polymer
then comes out of the right hand valve which needs to be sent to the
system using the polymer.
Water can be clean effluent water or fresh city water for the
units.
Pumps are ordered separately for these units
depending upon how much polymer needs to be added to the system.
We recommend and supply the high viscosity head LMI polymer
make down pumps.
